Obverse: Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 - April 15, 1865), the 16th President (in office March 4, 1861 - April 15, 1865) of the United States of America, one of the greatest of all U.S. Presidents, became the first American president to be assassinated; American Eagle from the Great Seal of the United States.
Reverse: Lincoln Memorial, located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. (dedicated on May 30, 1922), designed by Architect Henry Bacon.
Watermark: Big and small "5" four times.
When creating the ankers we attempt to capture interesting aspects of each bill. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee selected areas such as serial numbers, year or denomination for specific purchases. Each piece has interesting aspects on the front or back. There are even ankers that appear to have just white space, but reveal watermark features when held up to the light.
