Bacchus Cufflink Ankers
Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. The name orginates from the ancient Greek "amethustos", menaing "not intoxicated". Amethyst was considered to be a strong antidote against drunkenness, which is why ancient drinking goblets were often carved from it. This crystal can be found in area of Maissau (Austria), Minas Gerais (Brazil), South Korea, the USA and is quite common in Ontario and Nova Scotia (Canada).
We can't recommend testing the theory of the stone's claim of preventing drunkenness. So, please be responsible when you wear these cool purple ankers.
Don't forget to add in cufflink shanks if you don't already own a set. If you're interested in learning more about the environmental aspects of our ankers, read on.
