Canadian Tire Money 1 Dollar Cufflink Ankers
||Canadian Tire Corporation
|Year||1992 to Current
|WPM Catalog Code||N/A
Canadian Tire first introduced their curreny (coupons) in 1958 and have grown to become a Canadian icon, recognized almost universally across Canada. The money is even printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company and the British American Bank Note Company.
The coupons/money used here are from Series 15 to the present (1992 to present) with the exception of Series 18/19 (from Canadian Tire's 75th anniversary) and the 10¢ used for Canada's 150 anniversary. Those issues may be used in a separate series of ankers. You can read more about Canadian Tire Money here and here.
If you're interested in paying for your purchase using Canadian Tire Money, let us know and we can make arrangements - seriously!
When creating the ankers we attempt to capture interesting aspects of each bill. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee selected areas such as serial numbers, year or denomination for specific purchases. Each piece has interesting aspects on the front or back. There are even ankers that appear to have just white space, but reveal watermark features when held up to the light. The full image of the banknotes is just a sample and not the actual ones used in the production of the ankers.
Please note that the Numis series of ankers are sold individually and not as pairs.
Don't forget to add in cufflink shanks if you don't already own a set. If you're interested in learning more about the environmental aspects of our ankers, read on.
